The prayer teaches us to focus on God first in our prayers, then follow by asking for our needs. -

We go deeper when we go into our prayer closets, (separate ourselves) and have an impactful one on one time with the Lord in prayer. It’s understanding the relationship we have with Him and how precious it is. It’s coming to Him in reverence but also with confidence because He is our Heavenly Father and He wants the best for His children. As we approach Him we remember that His way is what matters the most. We are tuned into Him, His glory, His majesty, His greatness and that His will be done in us and through us. Then we make our requests, ask for forgiveness and understand that it is only in His strength that this can be done. We seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto it.

And, we understand that He does wants to be part of our lives each and everyday. He wants to help us no matter how big or small we may think the problem is.

He gives us so many promises and he Knows the thing that we have need of before we ask him but he wants us to come and ask with faith to receive guidance to ask according to his will and with the right motives.

Deleted User11/28/2021 at 21:27Dependence on God in prayer is important because God is good and kind and he wants us to come to Him with our needs so he can encourage us to live lives that are dependence on him as his children. He wants to set us free to live expectantly as children of God. Looking forward to him most of allas Pastor Banks stated in his readings.

Deleted User11/22/2021 at 07:01When we pray to God we must think of ourselves as is children. We must come to Him and know that everything in our lives is depended upon him. Although we may think that we can make it through this life on our own, that is far from the truth. We need God to walk beside us along the way because we need to depend upon him for strength and knowledge to help fight out everyday battles.

Deleted User11/12/2021 at 17:28Our dependence on God is important because in our fallen natural we will only mess things up. There is nothing that God can’t do or nothing He can’t provide when we ask Him if what we ask is in His will. We can’t stand against Satan but when we pray to God for help in our temptations Satan can’t stand against Jesus.

Deleted User11/05/2021 at 05:29We must go to God in prayer like children. Depending on Him for our every need because we can’t do anything in our own strength. He is our source for everything.
