He blesses us with His presence with we come prayerfully to Him with our hearts tuned to Him and Him alone.

Besides, praying for others also afforded the same opportunity to others to experience transformational changes in their lives.

We are stuck in the temporal plane, but God wants to show us more than that. He wants to show us the eternal, spiritual, and supernatural world, which we cannot see if we do not live with God.

What does it mean to not only talk with God, but also to be with Him when we pray?

Deleted User11/29/2021 at 10:38It means that not only do we listen to Him but that our hearts, minds, and souls are filled with Him and that the daily problems, concerns, and activities of our lives are left behind as much as possible.

In order to spend quality time with God in prayer, we should go to our prayer closet so there can be no distractions from the outside. It’s difficult enough to keep our minds from wandering.

Deleted User08/26/2021 at 08:14Prayer is much more than simply a way to ask God for things we need or want. It is also the time to be with Him during our prayers. We spend time with Him in conversation (prayer), opening our hearts to Him and listening to Him simultaneously. We acknowledge when we’ve done wrong and seek forgiveness. We praise and worship Him at the same time.

You look forward to the times you can spend together, no matter what you are doing. That is how God wants us to be- to not just talk to him, but to be WTIH him- and to want to be with him.

Deleted User12/21/2021 at 07:28It is such an amazing thought to know that the creator and sustainer of all wants us to talk to him personally. And I think that is why he wants us to connect to Him through prayer. It keeps us in Him, with Him, grounded and secure.

Deleted User11/29/2021 at 10:32Because through prayer we can give Him all our worries, doubts, fears, needs, and problems in life as we rely on Him with childlike dependence. In our prayers we can listen to Him as a child listens to his/her Father. In our prayers God can lead us and guide us through life. Through our prayers He can give the peace, content, and joy that is unspeaking and that can only come from Him.

Deleted User11/11/2021 at 18:25Prayer is our phone line to God, how we are to communicate with Him. We need God’s guidance in all things; we are nothing, can do nothing, without our connection to Him, and that is our prayer life. Jesus is our example, and if He felt the necessity to be dependent on the Father, we have even a greater need.

Prayer is an important part of the Christian life, and it is also a way to communicate with the Lord and grow in our relationship with Him. Through this relationship, God will bless us and change us to be like Jesus – deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and follow Him (Luke 9:23).
